College-NGO Partnership Initiative (CNPI) is a mutually benefiting research-cum-extension project of TIES, involving students and faculty of affiliated colleges in India. It is a student capacity building programme, equipping them to meet the challenges and to evolve into socially and environmentally responsible members of society. The first phase of this initiative has colleges from Kerala, followed by the other south Indian states and finally rest of the entire country. The second phase aims to conduct community extension and development projects through People Research Programmes (PRP). This programme helps to produce improved database and stake in community developmental activities.
