In a one-day event named "Enjoy Learning Skills," NSS Volunteers from DBHS School in Kavumbaghom took a sweet detour into the world of apiculture. The adventure, led by Ms. Reshma and Mr. Sarath Babu, was nothing short of buzzing with excitement.

Under the golden sun, 33 eager students gathered to explore the remarkable world of apiculture. The day began with an introduction to various types of honey bees, their roles within the hive and the complex social structures governing their lives, etc led by Sarath  Babu, NEO, TIES.

The journey continued as the volunteers delved into the fascinating realm of hive arrangements. Led by Mr. Sarath., they learned about the intricate layout of beehives and the remarkable organization within. This up-close look at bee homes deepened their respect for these tiny but industrious creatures. The students were introduced to an array of apiculture equipment, from protective gear to essential hive maintenance tools.

The day culminated with captivating demonstrations led by Mr. Sarath. Here, the students witnessed the mesmerizing processes of honey extraction, beehive maintenance, and the art of beekeeping in action. The sight of bees working harmoniously left an indelible mark on their minds.
