The final-year B. Sc. Zoology students of St. Teresa's College in Ernakulam recently delved into a one-day skill training programme focused on apiculture and aquaculture. A total of 27 enthusiastic students, guided by faculty members Ms. Paravathy and Ms. Akhila Anilkumar, actively participated in the event.

The sessions were led by Dr. Punnen Kurian, Secretary, TIES and Sarath Babu N B, Nature Education Officer, TIES, offering valuable insights into apiculture and aquaculture. The programme included a demonstration class, followed by engaging practical sessions that allowed students to apply their newfound knowledge hands-on.

The training was aimed to provide an enriching experience, fostering a deeper understanding of zoology and its practical applications.
