Proper statistical analysis is inevitable for a good research and data generation. Different statistical tools are required when emphasizing on different objectives and data.

Tropical Institute of Ecological Sciences (TIES) is providing hands-on training in statistical data analysis along with Web Based Agricultural Statistics Software Package (WASP) and OPSTAT. WASP, which was developed and designed by ICAR- Central Coastal Agriculutral Research Institute is the first Web based agricultural statistics package and are useful for those researchers who are not comfortable with standalone packages. the package includes descriptive statistics, parametruc and non-parametric tests, etc. OPSTAT is another free online agricultural data anaylsis tool developed in India and can be used for one factor analysis, two factor analysis, correlation, regression, etc. 

The training includes both theory and practical sessions. The seven day training session starts from 16th October 2021.
