In an effort to enhance the research skills of final year Zoology students at Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakara, Kochi and CMS College, Kottayam an intensive training session was organized. Led by Dr. Punnen Kurian, Secretary of TIES, the session provided comprehensive training in research methodology. Its goal was to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare a dissertation, a vital requirement in their academic journey.

A highlight of the training was a hands-on field trail on quadrats, emphasizing the importance of practical knowledge and fieldwork alongside theory and literature. The event had an impressive turnout, with 37 students and 3 teachers participating.

This training marked a significant step forward for these aspiring researchers, laying a solid foundation for their future endeavors. Bharata Mata and CMS College continue to prioritize academic excellence, ensuring their students remain at the forefront of academic and research pursuits.
