A one-day interactive session was organised for the second year B. Arch. students of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Pampady. The visit intended to conduct a study of the building to learn the construction, design, and detailing of the institute. They were also taught about the need for eco-friendly construction, waste management practices that can be adapted for various levels of living cultures, different types of flora that can be used for different construction works, etc. There were 40 students and three faculties from the Department of Architecture, RIT College, Pampady, Kottayam. The team was lead by Mr. Sarath Baby, Nature Education Officer, TIES.
