Pre-survey training programme for the Meenachil Odonate Survey was conducted at TIES Grove Hall. The training session was inaugurated by Saju K A, Assistant Conservator of Forest. The training was led by Dr Abraham Samuel K, President, TIES, which was aimed to equip the participants which with dragonflies and damselflies, its habitats, reproduction, importance, survey techniques, etc. 41 participants attended the training programme from different sectors, including students, professionals, professors, etc.

The field survey will be conducted tomorrow (11.12.2022) from Adukkam, the origin of Meenachil River to its end at Pazhukkanilakayal. 8 teams consisting of one experts and participants will survey 16 regions.
