A workshop on Honeybee farming and Climate Change was conducted at TIES. A package of practice for the farmers, in the wake of climate change and other challenges were formulated. It will be published soon.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr A P Thomas, Director ACESSD, MGU followed by a introductory session by Dr Punnen Kurian. Dr. Mani Chellappan (Dean & Professor, Kerala Agricultural University), Dr Sajan Jose (Regal Bee Garden, Kanjar), Mr. Biju Joseph (Senior Trainer Horticorp & Rubberboard), Mr. Jospeh Kunju (Infarm Agro Products), Adv. Jose Cyriac Mr. Noble George (Madikkal Bee Farm) and Mr Jose Louies (Head, WTI) had led various sessions. Dr Thomson Davis, District Co-ordinator KSBB inaugurated the concluding session.

Sarath Babu N B, Anoopa Mathews and Nowfiya N were spoken in various sessions. PG and UG students, farmers, and researchers attended the programme.
