Exciting News: Ambassador Venu Rajamony Joins TIES as Emeritus Fellow !

We are honoured to announce that Ambassador (Retd.) Venu Rajamony, a distinguished former Indian diplomat and scholar, has joined the Tropical Institute of Ecological Sciences (TIES) as an Emeritus Fellow.

With over 34 years of international experience, Ambassador Rajamony has represented India across the globe, serving in several prominent roles, including:

Ambassador of India to the Netherlands

Press Secretary to former President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee

Consul General of India in Dubai

A prolific author and expert in international relations, Ambassador Rajamony has written extensively on sustainable rebuilding and international partnerships. His acclaimed work, “What We Can Learn From the Dutch – Rebuilding Kerala Post the 2018 Floods”, reflects his deep engagement with sustainability and resilience planning.

His vast expertise in sustainability, diplomacy, and public policy will be an invaluable asset to TIES as we continue our mission of ecological conservation and environmental education.
