It is well aware that the quality of potable water is of great significance with regard to waterborne and water-related diseases. As part of Jalaraksha Campaign of TIES, 56 water samples from households of Peruma Residence Association, Manarcaud were tested and results were distributed at a meeting held on 20^th July at Lions Club Manarcaud. Classes were given on water quality parameters, remedial measures, and water conservation methods. Dr. Punnen Kurian, Ms. Soumya S, and Ms. Anoopa Mathews from TIES led the sessions. Programme was organized by Peruma Residence Association in collaboration with TIES.
