In a heartwarming initiative, as part of Paaristhithikam 2021-2022, the dedicated higher secondary students of NSS Higher Secondary School in Vayipur and local community joined hands with the TIES to grace the Manimla riverbank with vibrant life. They planted saplings of six native riparian species, ensuring the future of these trees with protective tree guards. Mr. Sreejith, HSS Teacher, Ganga and Amrutha, student representatives and Hazzan and Shafeeq, local community members were spoke during the event and participated in the tree planting drive. The programme was led by Dr Punnen Kurian, Secretary, TIES; Nowfiya N, Project Co-ordinator; Jijomon P.P and Augustine from TIES.
