Good water; Good Health- Jalaraksha Campaign

It is well aware that the quality of potable water is of great significance with regard to waterborne and water-related diseases. As part of Jalaraksha Campaign of TIES, 79 water samples from Pampady, were tested and results were distributed at a meeting held on 22^nd April at Pampady Public Library. Classes were given on water quality parameters, remedial measures and water conservation methods. Dr. Punnen Kurian, Sarath Babu N B and Soumya S from TIES led the sessions. Programme was organised by Pampady Public Library and Senior Citizen Forum in collaboration with TIES.
