As part of the One Week One Lab Programme of CSIR-NIIST, Dr. Punnen Kurian, Secretary, TIES was invited as the spokesperson. He gave a talk on Environmental Challenges and solutions. The programme was attended by research scholars, CSIR-NIIST officials and scientists, college students, start-ups, experts from Industries, R& D institutions, academia, etc. He was also part of the panel discussion on Urban Waste Management, moderated by Dr Ajith Haridas, Former Chairman, KSPCB.
