Naalumanikkattu, a renowned roadside eco-tourism center, is now offering a unique learning experience for visitors eager to delve into the world of trees. A total of 63 informative boards, each adorned with QR codes, have been strategically placed along the roadside, labeling 23 distinct species of trees. These QR code-enabled name boards serve as gateways to a dedicated database developed by TIES, facilitating an engaging and educational journey for all. Through this innovative initiative, visitors can access a wealth of information about native trees, their uses, and the importance of conservation efforts. This project not only serves as a platform for informal education within the community but also as a vital tool for promoting nature conservation. By enhancing knowledge and fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment, the tree labeling project aims to inspire individuals to actively participate in preserving our natural heritage. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters for enabling such impactful conservation projects. Join us at Naalumanikkattu and embark on a journey of discovery amidst the serene beauty of nature!
