Apart from the protecting the existed diversity, more native plants and trees that are on the verge of extinction were planted on both sides of the road with the assistance of Social Forestry Department. The project also promotes responsible roadside eco-tourism by conducting activities and programs complementing the natural landscape, at the same time a practical model in waste management and energy usage. Moreover, as a livelihood support, traditional and local delicacies are available at the local food stalls owned by Kudubashree workers.
