Shri. U.V. Jose

He has worked in many positions in State Government including Town Planner, Additional Director Tourism, Mission Coordinator Kerala State IT Mission; Director of Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) and Director of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF), Project Director of Kerala Sustainable Urban Development Project, etc. He was Director of Tourism Department and was holding additional charge of Managing Director MILMA. He also held the position of Director Social Justice for a short period and Scientist B in National Institute of Oceanography, Goa. He spearheaded the Responsible Tourism initiatives in Kerala. He has worked as district collector for Kottayam and there after to Kozhikode. He was also instrumental in initiating number of nationally acclaimed innovative projects such as ‘Zero Waste Kozhikode’, ‘Kayyethum Doorath’, ‘Campuses of Kozhikode’ etc. which are creating new history in participatory governance

Shri. K. Roy Paul, IAS (Retd.)

Former additional and special secretary of Environment and Forest Ministry,  Secretary of Civil Aviation, Chairman of Air India and held a number of important and responsible executive positions in the Government of Bihar and Government of India. He was the Joint Secretary of Ministry of Information Technology. He was able to place a system of transparent environmental clearance for different types of projects. Currently he is keen in implementing waste management and organic farming projects

He is the Chief Whip of the Kerala legislative Assembly and MLA of Kanjirapally. Retired as the college lecturer he has been part of several cultural development as well as active participant in environmental issues and founder of “Ente Manimalayar”- an initiative for the conservation of Manimala River. TIES is the technical partner of Ente Manimalayar Project.

Dr. Liza Abraham

Dr Liza Abraham is a distinguished chemist and educator, renowned for her contributions to green and sustainable chemistry. As an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Gordon College in Wenham MA US she brings extensive experience from previous academic positions at Ambrose University in Calgary Canada. Holding a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Dr Abrahams career spans significant postdoctoral research and influential roles in medicinal and materials chemistry. Her research is pioneering focusing on innovative ecofriendly laboratory practices and advancements in water quality and sustainable synthesis. A global advocate for sustainability she has actively contributed to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals Project and developed transformative green chemistry curricula. Dr Abraham s leadership in integrating sustainability into chemistry education and her dedication to international outreach underscore her commitment to advancing both scientific knowledge and environmental stewardship.

Dr Abraham Joseph

Dr. Abraham Joseph is an international expert on Development Policy and Practice. He had served in various capacities at the United Nations Headquarters, notably Office for Economic and Social Council Support and Coordination, Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, Small Island Developing States; Secretariat of the Chief Executives Board for United Nations System Coordination; Office of the Special Coordinator for Africa. Dr. Joseph holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics.
