Antimicrobial Activity

Antimicrobial activity can be defined as a collective term for the samples that inhibit the growth of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. The given samples and controls will be tested against suggested microorganisms from the TIES culture bank through the agar well diffusion method or disc diffusion method. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the given samples which is the lowest concentration that prevents the growth of microorganisms can also be determined.
