Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous), affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, was established in 1995. Situated in the verdant highlands of the Western Ghats, the College was founded with a vision to provide quality higher education to the underserved hill district of Idukki, home to tribal, migrant, and minority communities.

On 11th March 2026, the institution formally declared its Green Audit in compliance with the following ISO Standards: 14001:2015 , 50001:2018, 46001:2019, 14046:2014 , and 14067:2018 / 14064:2018.
