Mar Thoma College for Women, established in 1982 and affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, was founded to provide education and knowledge to the deprived and marginalised girls of the community. Education at the college helps students face life’s challenges and brings out their best, while encouraging both learning and responsibility.

On 26th March 2026, the institution formally declared its Green Audit in compliance with the following ISO Standards: 14001:2015 , 50001:2018, 46001:2019, 14046:2014 , and 14067:2018 / 14064:2018, showing its commitment to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
